Every change updates the A4 preview instantly.
A fresh worksheet for every class
Pick a topic and level, and the generator writes new questions that follow the rules you set — then lays them out on real A4 pages with an answer key.
Choose topic & level
Digits, carrying or borrowing, remainders, denominators or equation type — each topic has its own settings.
Set the layout
Column (vertical) sums for Class 1–5, or horizontal rows. Pick 10–60 questions and the number of columns.
Add your header
School name, title, class, date, name line and marks box are printed on page 1.
Print with the key
Print or save as PDF. The answer key prints on its own page so you can keep it aside.
Carrying & borrowing
In column addition, if a column adds to 10 or more, write the ones digit and carry the ten: 47 + 38 → 7 + 8 = 15, write 5, carry 1 → 4 + 3 + 1 = 8 → 85. In subtraction, when the top digit is smaller, borrow one ten: 52 − 27 → 12 − 7 = 5, 4 − 2 = 2 → 25.
BODMAS order
Brackets → Of → ÷ × → + −
Solve ( ) first, then [ ], then { }. Division and multiplication go left to right, then addition and subtraction left to right: 18 − 12 ÷ 3 × 2 = 18 − 4 × 2 = 18 − 8 = 10.
Adding unlike fractions
Make the denominators equal using their LCM, then add the numerators: 14 + 16 = 312 + 212 = 512. Always simplify the answer.
Solving equations
Do the same thing to both sides to keep the balance: 3x + 5 = 20 → 3x = 15 → x = 5. Check by substituting: 3 × 5 + 5 = 20 ✓
