Spot the tense from time words

  • every day, always, usually → simple present
  • now, look!, listen! → present continuous
  • already, just, ever, since, for → present perfect
  • yesterday, last year, ago → simple past
  • tomorrow, next week → future

Voice and narration in one line

Passive: object + be + past participle + by + doer — The poem was written by Tagore.

Indirect speech: tense one step back, pronouns and time words change — She said, “I am busy today.” → She said that she was busy that day.
